About Us

The Banff Bears Rugby Club was established in 1977. Primarily as a senior men’s rugby club in its almost 50 years of rugby the club has had great success in winning divisional titles and featuring in most final series.

More recently the club has expanded offering a junior program and continues to try and encourage a senior women’s program.

Our players and coaches from the club support growth in the sport by further volunteering their time as coaches at the Banff High School. This strong relationship between the club and School has seen huge success in the development of international athletes.
